HELLO!
In my present role as Senior Designer at Random House Children’s Books, I specialize in the design of Middle Grade book covers. Concurrently, I serve as the Design Lead for The Princeton Review books: overseeing management, art direction, and the design of book covers. Notably, I recently led the comprehensive cover rebranding for all The Princeton Review test preparation books, academic publications, and college admissions guides published by Random House.
My professional background includes roles as Designer and Senior Designer at Simon & Schuster, Wiley Publishing, Penguin Books, and Pearson Education. I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from The School of Visual Arts.
My design work spans a diverse range including: book covers for cookbooks and lifestyle genres (travel, pet, craft), wedding invitations, restaurant menu and logo design, marketing/promotional materials, and proprietary book products for major retailers like Costco, Barnes & Noble, Five Below, Walmart, and Target.
RECOGNITION
My work has received acknowledgement from the NEW YORK BOOK SHOW and WILEY PUBLISHING, earning awards for jacket design. Additionally, two culinary books featuring my jacket designs were honored with James Beard awards.
FUN FACT
One of my most favorite and memorable achievements was creating cover art for Little Red Riding Hood Redux, a limited edition book published by actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt. This remarkable project shines as a clever and collaborative reimagining of the classic fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood.
